The Yemen Fishery Project aims to empower and sustain the livelihoods of fishermen and fisherwomen in Yemen, providing them with the tools and training they need to thrive despite the ongoing conflict.

Our Goals:

• Supply Critical Equipment and Tools: Provide essential gear to 300 fishermen and fisherwomen, enabling them to continue their vital work.
• Training Sessions: Conduct 45 training sessions over 2 months for 450 fishermen, covering topics such as managing fisheries, conflict resolution, and resource mobilization.
• Project Impact Assessment: Measure the effectiveness of our efforts through baseline and endline surveys conducted after 6 months.
• Boat Distribution: Distribute 150 boats to fishermen and fisherwomen, benefiting 300 households by enhancing their capacity to fish and support their families.
