Afghanistan Earthquake Relief
A powerful 6.3 Magnitude Earthquake struck near Herat, Afghanistan this past Saturday leaving more than 2400 people dead, and over 10,000 injured. Moreover, thousands of houses and buildings in the region have been reduced to rubble.
ICNA Relief Canada is currently on the ground in Afghanistan providing life-saving measures to help victims of the recent Earthquake. We are working with our local Partners in order to assess the emergency needs on the ground and provide aid accordingly in the form of food, water, tents and medical supplies. Moreover, we are also assessing long-term needs and solutions on the ground.
